– ACT Testing: March 12 (No sophomores/seniors)

– Graduation: May 28 at 6pm at Alta High School Performing Arts Auditorium

Land Trust Plan & Graduation Goals

– Current graduation rate: 81.4% (2024)
– Goal: Improve graduation rate by 3% to 84.3%
– Historical graduation rates:
– 2021-22: 86.5% (92 students)
– 2022-23: 83.9% (106 students)
– 2023-24: 81.4% (137 students)
– Land Trust Funds: $29,134 allocated entirely to salary/benefits for Student Advocate position
– Role includes: Student Support Team, SEL staff coordination, home visits, credit recovery coordination

TSSA Fund

Allocation ($36,009)

– $18,531: Student Advocate salary/benefits
– Remaining $22,082 distributed:
– $5,000: Teen Center (food, bus passes, gift cards)
– $5,000: PE equipment upgrades
– $3,000: Physics lab creation
– $3,000: Field trips
– $2,000: Art/ceramics supplies
– $2,000: Programmable bots for computer science
– $1,500: Biology/wildlife lab supplies
– $582: Human-centered support curriculum

Mini-Term Program Updates

– Approved to begin next year
– Attendance requirements under discussion:
– Currently proposing 2 absences maximum
– 4.5 week term (20 days total)
– Considering “Raptor Redemption” program for attendance issues
– Potential schedule changes:
– Teacher hours: 8am-5pm
– Fridays: 4 hours only
– Staggered staff coverage for redemption program (3:30-5pm)
