As Diamond Ridge embarks on school closure because the COVID-19 virus, we want to stress how much each of your students mean to us! We consider ourselves family and want not only our Raptors healthy, but their families, as well!
From 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17, Diamond Ridge staff will be available to meet with students and parents on our campus and in classrooms.
- As of last Friday, March 13, Diamond Ridge ‘closed’ third quarter. Your student’s grades are current and can be viewed on Skyward. If you need help accessing Skyward, please call Diamond Ridge at 801.826.9900.
- Teachers will not be adding additional assignments to third quarter, but will be accepting work! Our website – drhs.canyonsdistrict.org – gives contact for each of our teachers as well as up-to-date information. We might not be at Diamond Ridge, but we are still available by email. Do not hesitate to reach out!
- Many of our students are not passing and/or need additional credit recovery. We encourage students to use their time wisely and ask that they please check their CSDdocs.org email. (CSDdocs.org login is the same as their Skyward Student login.)
Canyons School District is offering Grab & Go Lunches to any student under the age of 18.
FROM OUR COUNSELOR, SUZY SANTOS: The temporary soft closing of schools provides a good opportunity for student to be working on credit recovery at home, and you have access to your student’s credit status on your CSDdocs.org Google drive. If you click on the “shared with me” tab on the left, you will find a credit audit that has up-to-date information on the credits your student is working on in class and in the lab. I’m happy to answer any questions you have regarding their credits status and needs. The uncertainty of our present situation can also cause students some fear and anxiety, and I am available to talk or provide resources if your student is struggling.
