DRHS Update!

Dear Raptor Families:

We hope this finds your family doing well.  Following Governor Gary Herbert’s directive to Stay Safe, Stay Home, Canyons School District has closed all facilities and playgrounds to outside patrons and students.  [This does not include Canyon School District Grab & Go Lunches!  They will continue through this week and resume again after Spring Break (April 6-10).]  Please know we are still available to serve you!

Beginning Monday, March 30, Diamond Ridge teachers will begin teaching new content in all classes.  This content will generate fourth quarter grades and credit.  Teachers will be holding ‘Office Hours’ where they will be available to Google Meet with students.  Schedules and times will be posted on our website:  diamondridge.canyonsdistrict.org.

Does your student need a Chromebook?  School Supplies?  Textbook?  Workbook?  Tuesday, March 31, from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Diamond Ridge will be having curb-side pick-upPlease respond to this email with your student’s name and the item needed so we can have them ready!  Curb-side pick-up will be conducted by Diamond Ridge’s back door where the picnic tables are located.

We might not be in the building, but we are working!  Please do not hesitate to reach out to any of our staff to help you with anything!  Diamond Ridge High School has a food bank, including personal hyenine supplies, if your family could benefit at this time!  Please respond to this email with your need and we will have it ready for you for pick-up on Tuesday.

Many Diamond Ridge students and families are essential employees and we want to say THANK YOU for all you are doing to serve the community in these unprecedented times!  We wish you all safety!  Diamond Ridge teachers are looking forward to ‘seeing’ your students on Monday!  Please check our website for each teacher’s ‘Office Hours’ later today!

Thank you!
