  • Counselor Report: 80%+ of our juniors with their parents completed CCR Plans
  • School Safety Report Action Items – we implemented state requirements and are in full compliance.
  • Upcoming Important Dates:
  • Senior Accountability Day – Friday 5/15 – all credits must be completed, fees paid, Chromebooks/Chargers/Library Books turned in, survey completed
  • Senior Recognition Night – Wednesday 5/20 6:00 pm for grads and immediate family (two guests per grad)
  • Yearbook Signing – Thursday 5/21 5th period
  • Graduation Rehearsal, Cap & Gown Distribution, Senior Breakfast –

Friday 5/22    8:30 – 9:30 am

  • GRADUATION – Thursday 5/28 5:00 PM, Alta HS Performing Arts Center Seniors to arrive at by no later than 4:00 pm
  • Last Day of School – Friday 5/29
  • Discuss Open Seats and Officer Positions for Next Year’s SCC

 

  1. DRHS Mini-Terms Pilot Highlights:

8 Mini Terms of 4 ½ weeks each. Only two (2) absences allowed per mini term, whether excused or unexcused, exited after a third absence. Must maintain 2.0 GPA

    1. We only lost 3 out of 236 students for the entire year due to attendance/low GPA!
    2. School-wide absences: less than two per student per mini-term
    3. Average student GPA: 2.96
    4. Projected Grad Rate: 89% (highest ever!)
