MINUTES – Thursday October 3, 2024

3. 3. Events and Calendar Updates

• • Field Trip scheduled for October 9th

• • Fall Break set for April 17th and 18th

• • Graduation to be held on Wednesday, May 28th at Alta HS Performing Arts Center, 6:00 pm
    
    

4. 4. Chromebooks and Classroom Management

• • Concerns about students being distracted by Chromebooks in class

• • Experimenting with having Chromebooks available in classrooms instead of issuing them to students

• • Discussion on ensuring Chromebooks are used effectively and kept within classrooms
    
    

5. 5. Budget and Financial Planning

• • Land Trust & TSSA Plan Expenditures 23-24 Summary: First time in 10 years the budget was very close to actual expenditures
    
    

6. 6. Meeting Schedule Adjustments

• • November 12th meeting rescheduled to November 19th at 5:00 pm

• • No December meeting planned

• • January 29th meeting retained as scheduled

• • March 11th meeting retained as scheduled

• • April 15th meeting retained as scheduled
