2. Information About Our School Community Council – DRHS
        • Monthly Construction Updates –
          Phase Two has begun and will include:  Family and Consumer Science (FACS), Teen Parent, Art Room and two Science classrooms.
        • Monthly Digital Citizenship Information –
          Ellie Harrison-Valle will be Diamond Ridge’s new Digital Citizenship Coordinator, working in conjunction w/Louis Sherman this year.
          Diamond Ridge’s goal this year is three (3) digital citizenship lessons on Social Media & Social Emotional Health. 
          The lessons will be designed with assistance from Diamond Ridge’s LCSWs – Jesus Moreno & Sifa Tafisi.

          An additional note added by Mr. Sherman –
          In our growing school, collaboration amongst teachers has increased beneficially.  Our Professional Learning Community (PLC) is focusing on vocabulary this year.

        • Monthly Counseling Report –
         
Utah College Application Week (UCAW) complete!
          Salt Lake Tribune ran an article w/letter grades for Salt Lake County schools.  DRHS had a graduation rate of 83%!
          An alternative high school from Tooele –
   Blue Peak High School – will be visiting Diamond Ridge to study our successes!

3. School Plans
         • Review current year’s Land Trust and TSSP plans
            Same plan/goals as 2022-23.
         • Review School Safety and Digital Literacy Reports
            Amy Boettger is writing the Safety Plan … New building, new plan.  There was not one left behind for reference.
